Does CBD make you tired? The short answer is “it depends”. Based on current research, potential side effects of CBD consumption, especially headaches, irritability, and depression. It is definitely a risk that taking CBD will make you extremely tired.

The long answer is not as easy to pinpoint: One of the most cited studies on the subject noted that some individuals feel very drowsy after consuming CBD. Is CBD a safe drug to use for chronic tiredness? Currently, the short answer is “it probably is”. Long term research has shown that CBD has very few adverse effects on the human body. Even under the most severe medical conditions, such as chemotherapy, there are very few negative side effects that can be detected. In fact, it is one of the safest prescription drugs on the market today. So far, CBD has shown no signs of nausea in its short-term studies in adults and there are no signs of nausea or vomiting occurring in users of the oil cause nausea and sleepiness issues.

There are a number of potential reasons: why someone might feel tired, including insomnia, stress, or depression. It is possible that chronic tiredness arises from one of these underlying conditions, but it does not necessarily mean that CBD will cure or even help the person suffering from the illness. People need to be sure that they understand the varying symptoms that can lead to chronic tiredness and that they ask themselves if CBD would alleviate any of those symptoms, or if it would make them feel worse.

If someone is taking a prescription sleep aid medication for a sleeping disorder such as insomnia, depression or other sleeping related issue, the use of CBD may help with those symptoms without having an adverse effect on the patient’s general health.
